Lesson 16: A weather forecast

Hello everyone and thank you for stopping by 🙂 I hope you all are doing well and are ready for a new lesson! Today in Trieste it’s raining, snowing and it’s windy at the same time. I don’t even know how that is possible! Anyway, this made me think about doing a post on how to predict the weather forecast in Italian, or just simply how to say what is the weather like!

Let’s get started.

It’s sunny – C’è il sole, è soleggiato

It’s windy – C’è vento

It’s cloudy – E’ nuvoloso

It’s raining – Piove

It’s snowing – Nevica

It’s cold – Fa freddo

It’s hot/warm – Fa caldo

Storm – Tempesta

Thunder – Fulmine

Cloud – Nuvola

Wind – Vento

Sun – Sole

Sky – Cielo

You will find how to pronounce these words/expressions in my new video lesson, which will be up tomorrow on my youtube channel 🙂

Thank you for stopping by! All the best xx Ciaaooo
