C’era una volta…

Hello πŸ™‚ Today I would like to suggest some easy children books in Italian that you can start have a look at. For example, you can read known Disney fairy tales and understand the action since you know the story from before. That is a great way to learn new words and understand what you are reading.

Here’s a list of the most famous Disney fairy tales:

  • Cappuccetto Rosso (Little Red Riding Hood)
  • Cenerentola (Cinderella)
  • Biancaneve e i Sette Nani (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs)
  • La Bella Addormentata nel Bosco (Sleeping Beauty)
  • I Tre Porcellini (The Three Little Pigs)

Some vocabulary you might find useful πŸ™‚

C’era una volta un principessa che viveva in un castello… = Β Once upon a time there was a princess who lived in a castle…

…E vissero felici e contenti. = Β …And they lived happily ever after.

Principe = Prince

Re = King

Regina = Queen

Fata madrina = Fairy Godmother

Strega = Witch

Drago = Dragon

Have a lovely reading!

A presto

p.s. do not hesitate to contact me for any question or doubt πŸ™‚
